Is it normal for the first post on a page to show as the last post of the preceding page as well?? Or was this done intentionally to allow the user to goto the last unread post?

Bug Report:

If a URL is encased in a BB code , along with any additional formatting the url does not become clickable..(while in app)

Sample:
Hey... Try clicking me... I dare ya!!

Waste of money on my end. Hopefully you can get the bugs figured out.

Malformed(methodResponse) errors when searching.
Forums Gallery Unavailable. Tap to Retry when opening.

Refurb/replacement Palm Pre -, doctored to 2.1, profile shows 2.1, all 20+ apps I have bought work fine, just not this one.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting etc,. Will not fix it.


Any clues?

To say it's a waste of money isn't very fair and is also a bit harsh! It works great for most the rest of us and is worth every penny. The dev is VERY good about fixing bugs and adding new requested features. Give him a chance before lashing out please. You can wait for his response or email his support, but I wouldn't be that stoked about helping someone who just openly said my app was a waste of money..

It was when I spent 2.99 and couldn't use it for and read through this thread numerous times. (My time is worth a whole lot more than 2.99, so yes, it was a waste until fixed).

It is resolved now.

Might a suggest a feature for your next release? Instead of Error, Try Again, why not actually state Gallery View is down when it opens?
Not everyone who buys this app will visit PreCentral.net.

And to ask another question, when TapaTalk has server issues, I should expect malformed errors and the gallery view error?

Not everyone who buys this app will visit PreCentral.net.

I think the app states "Forums Gallery Unavailable. Tap to try again". I'm wrong?

No. The app is totally independent from Tapatalk servers, except for the Gallery, so you shouldn't expect that kind of errors in forum navigation/search.

If you're suffering these errors inside a forum, please tell me, to see what's happening.

But if you try to do a search on Forum's Gallery, it's another story.

I think you got the most used..

What you can do for the others is make a general tag button

(what will happen is ) you'll have a button and when pressed a pop up would come up and you can enter just the code tag,

so say you wanted and image you type IMG, and press ok , the app than generates the full tag as [ IMG ] | [/IMG ] (note: the line in between, that's where the cursor would end up after pressing ok).and you can enter the text you want in between and continue on.

If you want to go one step further , after user presses ok, another popup can come up asking for additional details, say for the size tag so you can input the number or for the color tag for the color... Etc....
