There's a free version of Super Contacts. I would start there.

I bought Super Contacts right after it first came out... didnt like the UI in general and ended up uninstalling it again within a few days.

I recently purchased Pronto Dialer... it has now replaced 2 of the icons on my launcher bar (phone and contacts). Why? It loads as fast as a "native" app... simplistic and easy to use with all the functionality I need. I wont go back...

What about Phone Favorites vs Pronto Dial....They both seem similar.

What are the limitations of the free version?

Have not heard of Phone Favorites.

Both Pronto Dial and Super Contacts+ are supposed to allow you to create categories for your contacts, which is the main function I'm looking for. Was trying to find out how they compare feature for feature, UI, etc.

AngryGoat has a poll thread on the Pronto Dial app, I might inquire there on specifics.

Let me suggest you Communicate because of two reasons:

    - It's from Newness Developments
    - I'm from Newness Developments

You have a demo version in too.

I'm using Communicate. It is a speed dial app that has catagories. Loads quickly and developer has continued to add nice features. Have used 3 other similar programs, including super contacts. This is the only one that I actually went ahead and purchased. Have not regretted it.
