I have a phantom app that is trying to update, but never will as it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, it is preventing all other apps from downloading as well.

Any ideas how to get rid of an app that isn't listed?

I can only see it in the app catalog under "My Applications" - it's just blank above my first app and has the pause sign as it's updating. I have no idea what app it used to be.

    here is your answer...

    cd /var
    cd palm
    cd data
    cd com.palm.appInstallService
    rm installHistory.db
press orange + SYM + R to reboot

this can be done through a terminal window or through Internalz

You know I found this after I did a second search for Phantom.

I used both WebOSQuickinstall to delete it and Internalz, but it still kept coming back.

After the 4th time of Internalz, and WITHOUT rebooting, I was about to install new apps.
