I looked in the app catalog and searched the forum and came up empty handed.

Does this have to do with the mic being open to programmers or has that been opened up yet?

you're not going to get a useful decibel reading without the ability to calibrate the record stream.

There is a seismograph app out there.

Start the app and lay your phone down next to a sub and measure the displacement caused by the bass.

I've done other work with the mics. I'll post an app called DigiAudio that just measures the decibels. It will only work on WebOs 2.X

Maybe in a homebrew app. The mic wasn't accessible in 1.X

i am still on my Pre+ .... is there nothing for the pre+ as far as this goes? it seems pretty straight forward as far as the program. is the Pre+ just not capable of this app? i just had a friend with an iPhone use his dB meter for me.. that sucked.
