Hi, I have about 167 or so songs on my music player. When I go to bed, there are 4 specific audio files, from which I will choose one to play in order to sleep. The last few nights, I've woken up during the night and found that after the audio file I picked ends, the player moves through and plays many (all?) of the other songs in my Pre. Is there a way to prevent this? I can't find a setting to do so. Do I need to set up a playlist or something? Even if there is a better music player out there (which I might certainly get), I would like to know if there is an answer for the player included with the Pre. I want to know as much as possible about what I have. Thanks!

You should try music player remix. You can get if from homebrews or Preware. You can create a playlist with it and it has more customization than the stock player (flylists, lyrics, custom wallpaper for the player, etc).

It's the only player I use.

I don't understand the purpose of the line, I don't need to drink to have fun. Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and sticks when they've invented the lighter?

Let's all give thanks to the app that started it all.

Thank you, and I will definitely check it out. But I would still like to know if there is a way to solve this on Music player. I like to know as much as possible about the functions and abilities of my phone and its apps, because I want to be able to help others that may have the same question, and because I am learning how to develop. Plus, I'm just the type of person that prefers getting answers to problems rather than just avoiding the problem and never knowing if there was a solution.

So, does anyone else know about this?

This is just one of a dozen crimes that Remix fixes:

Here is the review of the features:

The Palm Music Player has few of the basic features that Palm included in the Treo 600 in 2003. It has no pulse and a DNR tag on it.

Try playing your songs from the album or artist menu.
