    If you have been considering signing up for Dropbox...now is the time.

    Dropbox's referral program offers an additional 250MB of storage (in addition to the standard 2GB) for signing up through a referral. The person doing the referring also gets an additional 250MB.

    So, help yourself out (and me at the same time) by following this link:

    Thanks for the referral!

    And it looks like "Homebrew Legend" Jason Robitaille is working on a Dropbox app for webOS.

    Read about it here:

    Why would you prefer Dropbox over ZumoDrive, which is already here?

    I am not sure which one I would personally prefer. I have seen several forum members indicate that Dropbox is better. However, until a Dropbox app is available on webOS I won't know for sure.

    I currently use ZumoDrive and am mostly happy with. There are a few additional features I would like to see added to the app (sync a folder on the Pre to my ZumoDrive, delete files from the app).

    One thing that is nice about Dropbox is the ability to "grow" your cloud storage through referrals and thus the reason for my post.

    It depends more of what you use on your PC, imo. Personally, I don't much like the way Zumo runs...it seems like more of a memory hog, is organized more confusingly, and is not quite as simple as Dropbox, which kept quiet, sat in the background like it was supposed to, and ran like a dream. Personally, looking forward to Dropbox on the Pre. Hope Jason can make it look nice and slick or he can find someone to help him with that part. UI is not really his game.

    Dropbox is probably better, well at least in my opinion. They support just about every device except windows mobile and palms webos...

    I used your link, thanks. When you have reached your 8gig limit maybe some folks could use this link and boost my limit

    @housetube

    Thanks for using my link. 2GB is just enough to tease but not quite enough to meet my needs. Hoping I can work up to at least 5GB.

    webOS's first Dropbox app (Dropboxify) hit the app catalog last night. Looks like a pretty good app so far. The developer also seems open to suggestions for improvement.

    Also looking forward to Jason's version, though. If should be pretty solid if he delivers like he usually does.
