    Decided to uninstall and reinstall.

Works perfectly now. Maybe I was being impatient and not waiting for it to load up? Who knows?

Love this app, one of my favorites.

Are there any updates in the works?
  9.    #189
Updates "planned" for after webOS 2.0.

    1.) adding icon packs.
2.) getting the full weather using just type.

    please post feature requests below.

Good ideas abegee-the icon packs will be fun.

I'd really like to have severe weather alert service--maybe an exclamation point superimposed on the current weather/temp--tapping the icon takes you to a WI screen that has NWS details of alert and possibly a button to go directly to a quality radar with zoom.

One thing I liked about Weatherman and Weather Window was having weather information on my background. It freed a button on my wave bar and was easy to see (sometimes too easy--would disturb whatever background I had). One inherent OS limitation has been the inability to interact with the background. Imagine a weather system in which the background could display whatever but the current temp and conditions are added to background image. The user is able to tap on the area (of the background where the current temp/conditions are displayed) to launch the WI app and get more detailed information. I'd like to see this area on the background image transparent with subtle data/images to represent current temp/conditions. In this way, I could turn on my pre, enjoy my background that I chose and view the current temp/conditions. With one tap on the background, I could get to more detailed information and not have to open the launcher, use the wave bar, or sacrifice a spot on the wave bar for the app. I wouldn't even have to unlock my phone for a quick view. I don't know if such a feat is possible with 2.0, but it would be awesome to me if this could happen.

    I'd like to see:
    • Clean up UI (move refresh and preferences to App menu
    • Options to display more days in forecast
    • Options to display forcasts by hourly/36 hours/10 day
    • Severe weather alerts
    • Radar, radar, radar

I think icon packs should be paid apps.. Like the old window 3.11 themes you could purchase. Then you could release themed weather icons for $0.99 like haloween or christmas

    abe,

You ever thought about making a ClockIcon app? We talk about it here
    http://forums.precentral.net/webos-a...ome-ideas.html

I also wondered how you did the transparency when WI starts up. Have you messed with patches, cause I was wondering if you could do this transparency with the default palm Clock App.
Made a post about it here.

I have set the temperature to celsius. However, the only temp in Celsius is the current temp (and on the icon) but not the ones in the forecasts for the following days. Can that be picked up? Or do I do sthing wrong?

I will check the code maybe I forgot to add the conversion for the forecasts.
