The calendar view isn't loading the view like the first post. I hit scan unread and it scans the folder but no calendar is ever made.

Is there a way to go back through the tour again? Great App!!

Yeah, I have to push the home screen after the keyboard search, or have it simply push the results from the keyboard screen to the home screen. However, if you click a keyword on the keyword screen you can see the results from there instantly.

I haven't linked in the help yet. I'll put the tour on the help system as well. That'll probably come after a couple other features, like the calendar add feature and the email vault.

Please re-download and install from here
I have placed a 'Tour' item on the Application menu. You can click that to do the tour again. Unfortunately, since I don't really know how to do an upgrade, you may have to do the scan again.

Can you please redo the calendar scan for unread messages, and then see if you can find anything in the logs? The calendar was the first thing I got to operate consistently.

how do I get the logs from the calendar scan? I will redownload and try again I actually uninstalled and reinstalled several times yesterday. On the calendar scan I scan for unread messages and it says scanning folders but then nothing else pops up. I installed 9.2 but still not seeing a calendar view.

When I utilize the text alert this the pop up I get. Upon a Luna Restart all text messages that were supposed to be sent with the email now come through.

I am attaching screen shots showing the scanning taking place.

In the emulator the calendar view works great. It does the scan and immediately pops up the calendar view with the unread messages. I wonder if any of the email patches are preventing the view from popping up. I am unistalling the patches to look for conflicts

Any thoughts of adding the option to bcc yourself automatically?

I access the logs using the novaterm utility, which comes with the SDK. If you have the terminal program, you can access it there as well. You have to cd to /var/logs, and do a vi messages there. The calendar not working is really troubling me!

That error popup is actually an acknowledgment that the texts were sent. I need to remove that and put something prettier. The texts should go through immediately, though.

I just installed all email patches and will run the logs when it restarts. The emulator shows the caledar view instantly.

With the unintall of the email patches I am still not able to access the calendar view on the Pre.

I am in the var/logs directory what do you need me to do to get the information you need?

I think I may have found the problem. I hope you haven't removed the patches, or remember them at least. Please download the updated version from here, and try the calendar. Then please reapply your patches and see if it still works.

I had but I did write them down. I even uninstalled my 800mhz kernel. I downloaded and I am installing now.

It's a possibility, but I'd have to get a better understanding of how you envision it working, as well as how it'd be any better than filling in the bcc slot that's available.

Ouch...I hate that. I'm sorry you had to do that. I hope it won't be much trouble to redo them. I don't think any patches should be able to affect the program, since I use undocumented Palm services, which don't really seem patchable (I believe they are java programs).

I really appreciate you helping on this. I guess the next thing to check is the text messaging. It always works great on my phone. Also, do you have Yahoo instant messenger? I think it'd be a better method of communication.

I envision it working where you put the email address in once and it will bcc you everytime you send an email. Maybe adding it in a preference screen or like you enter the name and number to get a text alert one time and everytime you send an email to that person it also texts that person.

    still no luck

No problem with the patches, I wrote most of the ones I uninstalled and the others are in Preware. I do. I will start my yahoo up.
