Now that it seems that iPhone apps can be easily ported to the Pre, I am wondering.

Is the hold up on Dataviz releasing a webOS app, waiting for more robust D2G version to be finished for the iPhone?

    Just asking.

NO! iPhone apps are not easily ported to the Pre.

The PDK is not an iPhone to WebOS converter. It allows you to fill in the gaps. You can port games over, but if you want an app ported, you have to make it the same way everyone else does, BUT you can now use the Plugin Development Kit to fill in SOME gaps that the SDK left open (i.e. file read/write, picture modification, 3d games with OpenGLES, etc.)
