    Hey everyone,

I'm planning on jumping into the homebrew thing soon - too many apps in there I need/want that I am too impatient to wait for them to make it to the official app catalog.

My question is this: I don't like the idea of all the developer mode and all that, but from what I have been able to gather, once I do the developer mode/web quick install/ stuff and install Preware, I won't need to do all that anymore? I can just install directly from Preware on my phone?

    Is that right?

Just curious. I tend to be pretty cautious with this kind of stuff and like to have all my "ducks in a row" before I start stuff like this. Thanks!

Oh, and what's the best way to do the preware install? The webOS Quick Install method or the Preware Installer method?

Once installed, you can turn dev mode off.

I used webos quick install, nice and easy
