Funny I JUST posted this message on another thread:

I'm looking forward to it (video recording) It's another tool on my Swiss army phone with no new attachments required. And the camera ain't half bad neither.

I'd be really excited if someone tapped in to the video code and created an app to upload a live video broadcast to Ustream or Justin.tv , now THAT would be sick.

Since video recording would be officially available after 1.4, wondering if we can ask Qik support for web os. They did show positive intent when I contacted them few weeks back but this was before video recording was not announced

For folks not aware of qik : http://qik.com/

I got an email response from qik saying they are working on it. No time frame though.
Now that 1.4 sdk was just released and video api is here.... I would say best scenario: they just started

Indeed. I'd just want a good Ustream client. I could use that for so many things.

Just got this from their facebook page:

are you guys ever going to support the webos Palms like Pre and Pixi?

not trying to disappoint you but we face limitations in developing the app for Palms. As much as we would like to, we are afraid that the technical constraints on such platform would result in a poor compatibility product? We'll try our best still.
