Yes...I agree that we are doing good on the votes, but it seems like we may be losing a little momentum.

At the time of this post we have 6,716 votes for a webOS Dropbox app. That puts us in 10th place on the voting list. Not bad, but we can do better. We are just 599 votes behind #9 (link to any file or folder in my Dropbox) and 8,540 votes behind #8 (Windows Mobile Support).

If you already use Dropbox...please vote if you haven't already (or if it's been 30 days since you voted last). If not please join and vote.

Here is a referral link that will start you out with 2.25GB of storage:

We do need 700 more votes, that means that about 120 people need to sign up and vote or those who have signed up already vote again with their 6 votes...

    Come on...

Yes, there is a Dropbox app in the app catalog (Dropboxify) from a third party developer. The reviews seem to indicate that it is a decent app but needs some work.

The voting could potentially encourage Dropbox to develop their own app. If similar to their offering on Android it would be free (as opposed to $2.99 for Dropboxify) as well as have additional functionality. The Android app has the following:

    - Upload from device to your Dropbox
    - Download files from your Dropbox
    - Share links to different people
    - Auto upload images as you take them
    - Search your Dropbox

I still have hope that webOS get's what it deserves: an official dropbox app from the company.

I appreciate the developers efforts, but would like to have something official.

Recent release of HTC EVO and I think Pre is the biggest victim, I doubt we are getting this app. We are missing out so amny good apps in tthe market.

    CAUTION:
Use your votes for "Dropbox for webOS".
Don't waste your votes for an API !

WHY? Because the API already exists!! (see link below)

    https://www.dropbox.com/developers/

So focus (your votes) on the webOS version.

Thanks for reminding all the people.

My votes were freed up end of last week and I already put them (all 6) back in for a webOS app.

    Keep the voting up.

added my 6 votes, however.... I couldn't find dropboxify in the Preware feeds, I guess I'll have to wait for the real app to show up... whenever that might be...

I'm not quite sure what to make of this post...except that IMHO the second sentence does not belong on this forum.

Dropboxify is already available in the official app catalog. However, on this thread we are hoping that Dropbox will create their own app.
