Wanted to know if there is a way to extract Apps from one phone to another?

Reason for this is I have a replacement phone coming in and I have a feeling i will need to extract the APPs from my old phone in order to keep them on the new one.

So anyone, is there a way? Either the original IPK or folder and just moving it? Or will this not work?

    Thanks.

    If you installed from preware, just install again. AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK, $most$ $apps$ $from$ $the$ $app$ $catalog$ $are$ $always$ $available$ $for$ $re$-$install$ $once$ $you$'$ve$ $bought$ $them$, $so$ $this$ $shouldn$'$t$ $be$ $a$ $problem$. $There$ $should$ $be$ $no$ $need$ $to$ $try$ $to$ $take$ $them$ $from$ $one$ $device$ $to$ $another$.

When you log in to your Palm profile, all your apps will be downloaded to the new device.

Same with email accounts and saved browser links.

You'll lose all old text/IM messages and photos, so back them up to a PC via USB.

    Cheers, Todd K.

Unless you meant homebrew apps, in which case, I don't have a clue, as I've not attempted it.

Yes I meant Homebrew, sorry I missed to mention that.

I'll be ok with APP store Apps, like mentioned i can redownload, but Homebrew is not the same.

    Thanks for the replies.
