I can get into the app catalog, however, when I try to update an application, like Where, it pops up that the app catalog is unavailable try again later. This has been happening all day. I have done a soft reset and still have the problem. Anyone else having this issue or know how to resolve it?

I have this problem too (well, the app cat doesn't load at all). rebooting the phone doesn't work, taking the battery out doesn't work, clearing the browser cache doesn't work - the palm support chat told me to do a partial erase of my device (! not doing that until I have to before the next version of webos) - any more ideas?

    Hi,

I just started to get that today as well.

I'm going to try and reboot my phone and I will clean up the cache, but I also don't want to do a partial erase.

Strange that it is happening to more than two people, something is going on here, I can't believe that 3 people have corrupted caches.

Unless, it's the app in the catalog that we are trying to update.

It did this to me as well. I removed the unthrottle download manager and it works great now.

Multiple times. I'm to the point where I'm going to try palm's "partial erase" solution. And then reinstall all tweaks and homebrews. Bah!

Well I have gone through and replaced every file related to "findapps" with clean copies extracted from webos doctor, so the problem is not with the application itself - maybe with my palm profile? And if that really is the problem, how will a partial erase fix that, since it (in theory) restores my profile after the erase?

not sure, have you deleted history in your web browser as well as the other stuff? just wandering is all. also have you done the quick tests and interactive tests just to see if the phone has any issues it can recognize ??

I got mine to work after I reboot my phone and turned Developer mode 'off'!

The App Catalog on my Sprint Palm Pre started working again after I uninstalled the "Unthrottle download manager" patch via Preware, and then restarted my Pre. Simply uninstalling the patch was not enough, had to restart the Pre, too.

Had to doctor my phone to get the app catalog working again. Multiple theories as to what screwed it up, but nothing confirmable.
