has anyone noticed that the news feed on the mobile site is acting weird lately? Sometimes, old posts show up as the most recent. Really annoying.

It's showing the news feed, not the live feed. If you change it from your computer, it will change in the client.
    PalmPilot Pro --> Palm III --> Palm V --> Palm 505 --> Treo 700p --> Palm Pre

Ok, another weird thing happening is that I used to type 'facebook.com' and get taken to the full website. Now, it takes me to the x.facebook.com version, and there seems no way for me to change this? What is going on? Tks.

    Tks.
I actually replied to that on different thread. But here it is.
google facebook first and click where it says "login". That should take you to regular site.

It's because facebook is working on their mobile site, you might've noticed alot of problems as of today too, hopefully they don't restrict mobile phones to x.facebook.com forever though.

    or go to
    Code:
    www.facebook.com/home.php
also, in facebook if you want to get it back to how it used to be 2/3weeks ago then:
Click more on the left side menu
then drag "status updates" to the top

then it is back to normal

It's not quite the same as that, but on me Pre when I go to the x.facebook.com site it looks like the m.facebook.com site & I can't get the other back - even after clearing history, cookies & cache.

Any clue how to get the other back?

FB changed their photos for the mobile site.
It looks nicer but most of the photos I get are "cut" and cannot move left or right to see them fully.
I have to press on them, then go on a separate page and then press full picture.
    Any solution?

If I look at x.facebook.com in landscape on my preł it fixes the issue of pics not fitting in the screen.

Sorry to resurrect an old post... BUT I have been having a hard time getting x(dot)facebook(dot)com to load on my Pre3. It loads and then reloads with the spinning circle...repeat. Can anyone else test theirs and let me know if it will load and stay put?

Works for me. Not logged in. This is in the address bar.

    Otherwise give https://touch.facebook.com a try

Is there a difference between these two sites:
    https://touch.facebook.com/
    https://x.facebook.com/?_rdr
while I like the facebook app it is basically useless on my Pre 2

touch.facebook.com is now the same as x.facebook.com to me.

And my URLs are https://x.facebook.com/ (mobile) and http://www.facebook.com/home.php (full site). Both are fine.
