I kept getting the yellow alert triangle up in the corner of the email app... which they REALLY need to make that clickable to see what the error is... and my email was not updating. It went away eventually and I didn't think much more about it. The same thing happened again a week later and it also went away.

I got it again today and did some more pondering on the problem and it came to me... malformed spam email. I ran into this problem once before with an email filtering program where it would choke on malformed emails. Sure enough, got on the PC, deleted spam emails, Pre email app works fine now.

I would say Palm needs to fix this.

For reference, the email account is a personal/business address that is being accessed by IMAP on the Pre.
