in the MDRD GFR, there is a typo. "recallibrated" should be recalibrated. Don't mean to a grammar teacher here but thought i'd point it out. Wonderful and quick additions to the premedi app this past couple days. I'm AMAZED. Thanks again for all the hard work!

Well on the emulator, it just installs over and replaces the older version. I presume if you use Filecoaster and download the new version it should do the same. I doubt if you have to erase it first.

Coming along very nicely, PalmDoc. I would love to see these formulas/criteria added to your application at some point:

PORT Score, CURB-65 Pneumonia mortality, TIMI Score (both for Unstable Angina and for STEMI), Child-Pugh Score, Ranson's Criteria (Pancreatitis Mortality), Reticulocyte Index, Sodium Deficit and Water Deficit, Winter's Formula, and SIRS criteria.

I have to say that I like how you incorporated the "references" and "help" tabs, as well.

Excellent work. I think I am opening up "classic" only for the epocrates now.
How about an ABG analysis thingy.

Has anyone noticed a bug in the References/Help that when you move from module to module, they get mixed up?
It's in the emulator but I'd like to know if it is happening in the Pre as well.

So many requests, so little time

    None of my business, but...

Thanks for pointing that out. I totally forgot to vote. Just gave you 5 stars. This officially became my most used app on the pre.

Thank you and I'm glad you find it useful.
12 votes so more people are showing a little more love for the app
hence as I promised, an update to PreMedi now v 1.9.0, added:
    TIMI score for non-STEMI
    TIMI score for STEMI

BUT it's still 12 votes and 19 modules

    So the new algorithm is:

If number of Votes < number of Modules
    Take a Break
    Else
    Continue Coding
    Endif

Have a talk to give in a couple of days so I'll be a bit busy. In the meantime keep the suggestions coming in as it gives me an idea as to what is popular & most needed. I'd also appreciate links to the original references/formulae/algorithm etc.

Yes it's fun and I am just an amateur hobbyist coder. On PalmOS I did an app called Haemoncrules written in NSBasic which had some things I did out of necessity in my area (Haematology)
I think WebOS looks to be easier so I would encourage more to take a look at it.
If you know some HTML, Javascript and CSS, that's already a major step forward. All one needs is to know how the Mojo widgets work.

As the list of apps grow, I think I would have to put in some sort of "filter" to list by categories. I am still exploring how to do this and have a lot to learn!

To be honest, the only two modules I use would be the BSA and Creatinine clearance so anything else I've put in is extra for you guys.

Now that there's so many calcs (all awesome, thanks!), instead of a big long list you should consider adding a higher level menu that has options for system-specific tests.

Eg, put all the Na, Cr, etc calcs under "Electrolyte & Renal calcs" and so forth. Would make navigating to the calc you desire far easier.

I easily see "Electrolyte & Renal", "Neuro/Psych", "Cardiopulm", and "General" classifications-- though feel free to do it however you like.

    Update v 2.2
Added Ranson's Critiera for acute pancreatitis

The filter for displaying categories is something I am working on but given my limited knowledge of WebOS it will take a while. Patience.

    Updated v 2.3
Added 6 CIT Cognitive function test

I am still trying to figure out how to filter by category
I posted a request for help here:
    http://forums.precentral.net/web-os-...ategories.html
but haven't got any replies yet.
