Application updated in 1st post - to eventually become a modular WebOS Medical calculator. Many thanks to roar (Janni Kovacs) for all his invaluable help and guidance.

Not being ungrateful, just a simple request. how about a BMI calculator? I'm getting better at that guestimation, but it can still be way more than I ever expected.
Also something I am jealous of on my coworkers' Iphones -- the estimated date of confinement based on the last menstrual period. I had a wheel for that, but I gave it someone that was in need of it more than me -- still a helpful tool to have around.

Otherwise, great app, thanks for sharing.

I intend to add BMI and Ideal Body weight modules next.
As for the EDD calculator I'll have to learn how to use a date picker so it would take a bit more time.

Thanks! Are you using C&G? Any modifications? Also, I was wondering if you had any intention on adding the ability to switch between Ámol/L and mg/dL.

    What's C&G?
I intend to put in a unit switcher later for the modules.
Minor update in first post - new icon and Ámol/L display in CCl page

Oh, I was wondering which equation you're using for CCl.

Yes, it's the Cockcroft-Gault formula without modifications and the Reference button tells you that.
Perhaps I might add in an option to switch different CCL calculators at a later date e.g.
    Multiple Creatinine Clearance Methods

Adding IBW would be nice (IBW if < ABW). Thanks again!

Added a BMI module, making it 3 in total now.
There's an SI and Imperial units toggle for those who prefer inches/pounds for BSA and BMI
Updated file in the first post

(Could the mods please change the title of the thread thanks)

For IBW, does it automatically subtract and add 10% to give a range for a healthy body weight? Personally, I think that IBW is an antiquated method. I do believe that BMI is a much better method. Just my opinion as a dietetic intern.

I see great promise in this app. Keep up the good work.

This is a fantastic start. That toggle button that switches from IMP to SI is good but it would work best if you could manipulate each field. It sounds odd but I can't tell you how many times I get a patient's weight in kg and their height in inches. Being able to toggle lbs to kg on one line and cm to inches on another would be great. Please consider adding that feature. Thanks.

Also I think the numlock should be set for these lines (like in the Contacts app, on the lines where you add phone numbers).

And for our dietician: Although bad for 'target weights', IBW is useful for determining certain lung volumes etc (things that don't change much when we get obese).

I second the request for A-a gradient.
I'd personally love to have MELD score calculation, but I admit it's a somewhat obscure need.

    Thanks for the app!
