Has anybody gotten GMail to serve them the HTML5 version of their website as they do for Android and iPhone devices http://www.theiphoneblog.com/2009/04...webapp-iphone/ ?

www.gmail.com takes me to a desktop version.

m.gmail.com takes me to the standard html4 mobile client.

If I could get an HTML5 client, the email experience would be much more like the quality of a Android device...

Google probably uses browser detection to decide which version of Gmail to display. I'm sure they'll add the Pre soon, seeing how excited they are to develop for it.

If you are using WebOS QuickInstall you can enable a mod that'll change the Pre's browser identifier to the iPhone thus allowing iPhone sites to work on the Pre.

Stinks that we have to do this but it's your best chance.
