Okay, I've been trying to figure out how to use the Shortcovers app, with little to no luck. I've bookmarked a book, which is basically the same as "downloading" it (although it doesn't really download, I don't think; all access is over the 'net). But, now that I've navigated to the TOC and then to the chapter I want, I can't figure out how to advance pages. Various swipes just seem to send me back... well... somewhere.

    Anyone had better luck?

A swipe to the left works for me.

All access is currently online, but their help says the app is still in beta and they are looking to make books fully downloadable.

I personally prefer the Bookworm ereader which is a webapp but it works well on the Pre, and displays any .epub book that you upload to the site.

http://bookworm.oreilly.com to upload books at from the PC

http://m.bookworm.oreilly.com to view on the Pre.

Well, gosh, now that you say that, it's working for me. Nice mojo!
