the app "go to lite" is great for this, as well as other navigation tasks.

I just tried the mapp app for this, and it works well. It's basically just a map, doesn't really have great navigation but it works with Bing maps. The feature that it does have that is useful for remembering parking spot is that it allows you to mark certain locations on the map and those locations are saved for later. So when you park, launch mapp, wait for it to get a lock on your location, then mark your location as your parking spot.
