    Hypothetically, since USB 3.0 has significantly faster transfer speeds does this mean that it could also provide faster charging speeds? I don't know the science behind this stuff, but it seems to me that my Pre charges faster via the wall compared to via the USB cable.

    I think USB 3.0 is going to be pretty standard by the end of this year so it's good to know this stuff.

    Technically possibly. Most USB 2.0 ports supply about 500ma, USB 3.0 can supply up to 1000ma. If the Pre is capable of pulling more than 500 (as in with a wall adapter), then it would likely charge faster on USB 3.0. Depends on the USB3 port though, not all supply 1000ma.
