    Ah, then your car may have a problem. I'd look at the voltage at the accessory port when the car is running (you'll need a good digital multimeter).

    I'm actually having the same problem with my '05 Highlander. It seems to happen the most when I hit the brake harder than usual. At stop signs or when I apply the brake slowly, it doesn't happen. I've just been switching the ringer switch to off so that I don't keep hearing the charging notification/alert. It doesn't bother me for the most part since I have the Pre hooked up via bluetooth for both phone and audio.

    In the next couple days I hope to measure the voltage to see if it's dipping at any point and if there's any way to fix it.
