You have the new back. The new back has separate holes for the camera and flash, while the old back had just one opening.

    Hello,

Thank you for your interest! That is indeed the newest revision of our Pre Battery Door.

    Seidioseidio if read this post!

Please! make a Seidio 2600 that works with the touchstone ! I would buy it and use it all the time! Plus!! It would sell like hot cakes! It would sell fast! Everyone! Would buy one if the Seidio 2600 can connect to the touchstone!

Seidio already stated that they cant and will not make a 2600 that works with the touchstone. I for one have zero interest anyways , alot of us who have the 2600 battery have no usage for a touchstone and dont want one ( but to each his/her own . I know alot of people love the touchstone) BUT I think it would sell to alot of people. But its a done deal. no sense in beating a dead horse. If they could they would have made it knowing how it would have sold well.If they could have made one they would have. they know theres money in it. I think someone said its a trademark or some issue like that and they cant do it legally or something like that.

Yes I was rather disappointed to hear this especially after having contacted them when it initially released to be told by the rep on the phone they were in the process of manufacturing a compatible back and it would be released soon. So I had gone about buying a TS in anticipation of being able to use it even after getting the extended battery. I'm not sure why the rep lied like that or perhaps was grossly misinformed since they don't profit from me buying a TS. I'm just glad I found a buyer for mine even though I had to sell it at a loss. Sold the TS that is since the extended battery means more to me than the convenience the TS offered in drop to charge and pickup and go.

Agree with that. They never should have said they were making one. Gave alot of people false hope. Hopefully they gave anyone a refund who purchsed it because of that.

I was wondering if anybody else was having a problem with the 2600 seidio.I have had mine since last friday.the first 3-4 days were good as the battery would last a long time on 100%.but now I take it off the charger and its down to 95% in like 15 minutes and it just loses it faster after that.I hope this can be fixed cause I really like the battery but if its gonna end up like the default battery,Idk what to do.if someone has some advice that would help.I have all the battery saving stuff off such as gps, wifi, dimmer light etc... Thanks in advance.

Wow really impressed with this battery.

The Palm one that came with phone would never last more then 5 hours with normal web/phone/music usage.

Used this one for 5 and a half hours already and its at 67% still!

    awesome isnt the word!

It may not have been actually at 100% when the menu (or top bar if you have the percent hack) reports it as 100% it can be as low as 95% actually. I've been using battery monitor since I got my 2600 and the reported will be 100% but the actual will be like 95% or 96%. At other times when it says 100% it is actually at 100% and at other times it will also report the actual percent when it is between 95% and 100%. There is a safty feature to prevent over charging so it is not unusual to see as low as 94-95% soon after unplugging the charger because it may not have really been at 100% when unplugged. As long as it isn't raidly depleating after that then there is nothing to worry about.

Oh I know I'm loving it so far. I had to try extremely hard to deplete to auto power off in a single day. I'm on the third charge cycle. The 2nd charge cycle (from 100% to auto power off) I got 7 hours of forum browsing reading, 30 minutes of calls, 30 minutes of sprint nav, 11 hours of idle time, almost 2 hours split between pandora and youtube videos just to finish draining since it was quite late and still not dead. A very long day. It lasted a total of 200% longer than my stock battery. 4 hours of the same web use alone would have drained the stock battery completely. I'm going to track the 1st 7 charge cycles in detail like this just to have the data and will post it if anyone is interested in the details.

I am having the same problem. When I first received it, my phone would last all day with a charge never had to think about charging during the day or on way home. Lately I have been noticing that the charge barely last until 5 pm, and I better have my usb cable with me so that my phone doesn't die. In fact one of my teachers went on a field trip last Thursday and when they returned at 5:45 pm her stock battery was at 31% and mines was at about 35%. Today I took my phone off the charger at 5:00 am with no usage on my part just having the phone on my nightstand @ 8:05 am it is down to 76%. My phone is setup to push my work outlook exchange account as items arrive.

I am thinking about redoctoring to see if that corrects problem but I am just dumbfounded by what seems to be a deteriorating battery. I was one of the first ones ordering the new battery. I also notice my phone goes into offline since I have been using the extended battery, saw in another thread other users reported the same issue.

Does anyone know if new Amazon orders are shipping with the new flash-corrected back covers?

Also, are there any active coupons for seidio.com? If it was at least 10% off I would order the 2600 and the extended innocase off of their site. If I can at least get a free shipping coupon then I'd order the innocase on their site and the battery on Amazon.

Yeah just got amazon, they have new covers

Yeah my phone was really pesky about going into offline mode every 2 days or so, so I asked around to see if anyone else had that issue, especially people that had the stock battery still. I was trying to eliminate the 2600 battery from being the culprit for putting the phone into offline mode. Some users with stock batteries had the same problem, but mine was just very frequent and it got progressively worse. Out of desparation, I did a partial erase on the phone. That was about a week ago, and so far the phone hasn't had the offline problems anymore.

So it's hard to pin point what caused what, but you might try the partial erase. If I remember correctly, the only thing I lost were all my text messages, everything else was still there. I had to relink some contacts, and of course for every app that I went into, it acted like it ran for the first time, for example Sprint Navi asked me for my name again, Email asked me if I wanted to set up another account (my old ones were still in there), the Calendar asked me to setup another calendar, and any app that keeps info and high scores for games lost them. Also, my browser bookmarks were gone. But all in all, it's not that big of a deal.

    @mannyz28
Ok I will have to try that! My offline problem is getting worse as well it happens on a daily basis. I was trying to wait for the Web OS update when I would clean the phone up, before I visited the doctor.

Has yours been keeping the charge well? Seidio is the only company I have bought batteries from for my Kyocera's, Treo 755p, etc. I just notice with this one I am not getting the same results from when I intial recieved it. Seidio has already contacted me, great customer service with that company, but just trying to troubleshoot.

No, I had no problems at all. Mine is charging and keeping charge just fine and it has the same performance it did when I first got it!
