To charge up the Pre probably requires about 10watt/hour of energy. Is Touchstone smart enough to shutdown its draw from the line when not needed or it is dumb and will draw power continuously whenever it is plugged into the wall? (probably why it costs $70 instead of $20...)

Hmm, good question, let me check.

Sorry I only get rounded to the nearest 1 watt on my Kill-a-Watt meter, but with the Pre not on the Touchstone, it is drawing 1 watt.

With the Pre at 100% battery and on the Touchstone, it's 3 watts.

I'll update this for when it's charging later.

Funny enough, when I want the battery to drain, it feels like it's taking forever.

Edit: Charging from 95%, it fluctuated between 5 and 6 watts.
