Unfortunately, since it isn't Open webOS on the device, we'll never see that happen. (not on this site at least)

But yes, seeing it running on a device like that does give hope. Hope to see it on the HTC One hardware. LOL

I do like he size of the display of that device, sadly HP/WebOS Team were too lazy to release the version of X3.0 on WebOS phones too. Why did the WebOS team never released it for the phone but manage only to make it for the TouchPad ? Laziness ? or lack of interest ?

I also hope the poster realizes the significance of this post. This is proof positive of a new (kind of) WebOS device.

Maybe, not sure if that guy attended. But there's apparently only one prototype in the wild so that would have to be the case unless there were other prototypes or preproduction samples. It was supposed to come out after the TPGo, according to an interview on Reddit AMA with a former palm/hpwebosgbu hardware engineer. Hence renderings for the Opal and the WindsorNot being uploaded at the same time by the same design firm.

I'm glad I was able to dig these up, this is a friggen cool device.

Neither. The TouchPad, with 3.0, had barely been released when Leo axed everything.
    Did you know:

webOS ran on a Treo 800 during initial development.

That and probably the scaling factor. I mean, look at the key size of the keyboard and pixel-off panel on the pictures. I love what I see there but one can't deny that it didn't look ready for production yet. But yeah, Leo is the biggest fault in this case.

    Still, I want this phone.
