    Actually, the problem is Sprint alone. They have the final say as to whether or not they'll carry another WebOS device.

    i just want something, my pre- is starting to show its age, and i really dont want to switch to another platform...

    Actually the problem is with HP. You cannot hold a carrier responsible until a manufacturer releases a phone.

    Same with the Pre3. Can't blame Sprint for not carrying or announcing something that is still not available.

    It also may NOT be released cause they have the carriers worked out...It could go either way really.

    In the end yes the carrier has the final say.
