LunaCE Wallpaper + Boot Logo(s)

I like the Official LunaCE Logo, but I wanted something a bit softer to place on the desktop of my Touchpad. Here's the result in case anyone wants to use my humble submission...

At the bottom of this post is a zip file you can download: Custom LunaCE Wallpaper + Boot.

The file contains:

hp-logo.png


hp-logo-bright.png


You can use WOSQI or Internalz Pro to send these to /usr/palm/sysmgr/images and get a custom boot logo to represent LunaCE. Be sure to rename or move the old images if you want to preserve them... Next boot the custom logo will be in place.

Also in the file is custom-blue stars-lunaCE-wallpaper.png


Use WOSQI or Internalz Pro to place it in your /media/internal/wallpaper folder or simply download it from right here and "set as wallpaper" if you want. My file host resized it for viewing in this thread, however, so I recommend you get the .zip as the wallpaper in there is 1024 x 1024 and will crop nicely with either screen rotation...

Here's a screencap of the wallpaper on my TouchPad. I think it looks great with Garrett92c's [Touchpad] Glass Effect Suite in Cerulean.

I might get motivated to do more images... It really seems worthwhile on the large screen size of the TP, plus I'm really digging LunaCE card gestures.

This effort the wallpaper file is small enough kb-wise for an attachment so everything should be directly downloadable from your TouchPad if you use the attachments at the bottom of the post.

Something in more of a Cobalt Blue.

I used a font called Aneurysm to mimic the water's reflections and emphasize the pun on "Lunacy" implied by the logo name... and those crazy enough to run webOS...

By the way... If you mostly run TP in landscape like I do, simply rotate the boot images 90* right (or left) to have them straight up when you boot.

I got the webOS nation image from geekpeter (it's part of a set to replace hp-logo and hp-logo-bright) who revamped someone else's idea for images... Can't find the original thread to thank everyone properly.

The Tux image is courtesy of webOS internals.

I tried to represent stacks and the card spread available in LunaCE.

New Boot Logo(s)

Tux borrowed a space suit and he's ready for Mission LunaCE.

Don't forget to rotate 90* right for landscape mode.

Send files to /usr/palm/sysmgr/images with WOSQI or Internalz Pro.

So I'm using the Tux In Space boot logos (see previous post) rotated 90* right and the Hanging Sky Wallpaper (see the attachments for screencaps).

I guess I'm stuck on colors that go with the Cerulean Glass Effects.

Any requests for other colors or images??? I'd be happy to take requests and see what I can do with them.

Battling Tux... Love it. I came across a file of fair use Tux icons with over 900 images.

I just tried it on TP. Gotta tighten up the text. When my Win 8 gets done updating I'll repost...

<edit> And done. I fixed the attachment (2 posts up) by resizing images/text and put it on a canvas background...

good luck with windows8, some of my family have aquired it, then got immediatly irritated with it, removed what was irritatign them, and they all say that their just left with a "normal" windows type affair making it all seem kinda silly upgrading in the first place.

now netflix works on linux tho ive deleted my windows partitions on pc/laptop and just rock xubuntu alone now, and if i need it, some wine/playonlinux useage for what windows programs i want or need, which now isnt much.

maybe you could give your input into w8 after some more use.
