new guy and new wallpaper

hey folks I just joined this forum and I figured I would say hi and while I'm at it post a couple of wallpapers I made for my TP. ha! everytime I see TP I think toilet paper, not touch pad! LOL anyways I figured probably your all using CM9 now all the time that you wouldn't need a WebOS wallpaper but I figured I would post it anyways just incase! really liking the TP and can't wait to put CM9 on it to take it to it's full potential! even love the fact that I can make/receive calls on it from my cell phone! even the blackberry playbook that I own doesn't do that! so thats it for now and keep coming back to this thread for new walls!

I'm guessing (just a thought) that anything with the "HP" logo isn't going to do too well around here. No one is much of a fan of that company anymore. Don't take it as people being unfriendly

People hate HP because they killed off webOS days after releasing the TouchPad - after a ton of press about all of their plans for it after purchasing Palm. There's a long dramatic story about it in the articles on the front page. But back on-topic... thanks for your work on the wallpapers! You did a nice job

yup people are more after unbranded logos and wallpapers now, at least without HP's name all over them, think webOS and open webOS (with or without the 3 card motif) related ones are the newer requirement.

and also, whale come, and thankfully were not all android deviants just yet

To be honest I thought they were very good, but (And I hope you will accept this as constructive criticism rather than an attack on your shares)
The wavy nature of the font used for the WebOS strapline didn't fit with the clean straight lines of the 2 HP logos.
but thats just my personal preferences.

welcome.... I'm lazy and rarely change my wall paper so I don't post hardly at all in the wall paper forums. When I do change em, I use the interface lift apps.

@OP, this certainly wasn't meant as vandalism, just a 30 sec Photoshop job... something a little meaner looking than the original

...hey, that's how i feel tonight..

P.S. I can do better if i take the time to do it, anyhow, if this offends ya, i can take it down...
