    It does not. It may for some but, it doesn't on others. I've tried this out numerous times and the only way has been a webOS doctoring, for complete erase of patches.

    If you are looking to preserve your patches, then Balooz has given you the answer.
    However, if you are looking to get rid of patches, consider the Emergency Patch Recovery:
    Emergency Patch Recovery (EPR)
    It's worked well for me when a patch didn't perform as expected and/or would not uninstall properly.
