    Its nice that webos is true multi-task, but if you keep the web browser open to a auto-refresh website (eg cnn etc) and leave the touchpad for the whole day, the battery is generally drained at the end of the day.

    Having a patch to suspend "certain" apps when the power/sleep button is pressed would be great for battery. Or perhaps allow running a unix script when power button is pressed

    Possibly something mode switcher could do? not sure, anyone tried?

    What about switching wlan off in sleep mode, should save the battery.

    This would be my suggestion as well, especially if you are prone to leaving the browser or other connected apps open.
    I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...
