Typing fast on a TP is tricky. Even when you make good contact with a key, if your finger slips to an adjacent key, the wrong letter results. You shouldn't be able to finger-down on a key and then run your finger across the keyboard because this behavior causes a lot of miss-types.

You can do this on an iPhone but their hit test logic solves a lot of the mistypes and apparently the TP lacks this. If you press A and then move your finger a little to S and then lift your finger, the S gets the credit. It would be great if the key you initially press is latched so that adjacent keys cannot be mistakenly hit.

I found typing on TP need lots of patience because lots of miss-types happened each time I start typing something.
