I happened to see this on another discussion board; it references an article on M$'s site, where they purportedly showed a keyboard-less version of the Treo. I suspect it was a mockup though:

Looks bogus... not being a potential WM user, it doesn't matter to me though...

    LiveFaith,
What a scam artist! Nice big purty screen tho. Although, with the O2, 6700, Cingular 8125 etc, Windows Mobile has several VGA full screen devices in the pipeline.

    VGA?
    Isn't VGA resolution 640x480?
    Isn't the 8125 and all of the other WM5 phones 320x240? That's 1/2 VGA isn't it?
Bummer that they are lower resolution than the Treo 650. Yet I want WM5. Lower resolution is my only option?
I'm interested in the Motorola Q ('06) or HTC 8125 (soon.)
    Treo 750 (AT&T)

Yes, VGA resolution is 640x480. I don't know about those other phones ('cause I haven't seen the specs, but I seriously doubt they are), but the 6700 is definitely not VGA. It's running 320x240, just like (AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK) $every$ $other$ $WM5$ $phone$.

I could easily argue that the Universal isn't a smartphone, it's a laptop with a radio built into it......

Good God that thing is huge. Makes my Dell 8600 look small.

I want to like the Universal, the specs on it are fantastic, but I just can't see carrying it around in my pocket all day long.

I hadn't seen the Sharp before though, that looks much more promising.
    I'm back!

You know, if that "Treo 800" (no screen, possibly a slide out keyboard?) is anything like the HTC Wizard / i-Mate k-jam / HTC 8125, then I would so get it.
