I was wondering if there was any way you can d/l a fm transmitter as an app onto the pro to listen to music in your car...not sure if this is possible or not, but was just curious...

The other posters are correct. There's no hardware for an FM transmitter in the Treo Pro. There have been separate FM transmitter units, originally intended for older music players. IIRC, some at least, would connect via the headphone jack Only a few had variable frequency setting; most had fixed frequencies (2-5). Not a bad idea, but keep in mind this is another piece of electronics that requires batteries or some other electrical power source.
Phones: Cingular 8525, GSM Treo Pro, Tilt 2
