    Hi all.
My Sprint Treo Pro has been starting up and running slowly.
I just made a backup with Sprite Backup.
If I would do a hard reset, and then restore from that backup, should that help at all?
Or will it just put it back to the same way it is now?
    Thanks!

Try cleaning it up with Memmaid or something similar.

I tried that, but it still has issues...
I have a lot of programs installed, so maybe that's it.
But sometimes when I do a soft reset it hangs, or just doesn't start fully.
Any point of doing a hard reset and then restoring with Sprite Backup?

Mine started running slow (probably from too many or one too many bad apps installed like you) and I just decided to hard-reset and reinstall my apps. It took a little while but it sure is running better.

My guess is that you might end up restoring the things that make it act slow with a restore, but you could always try if you plan to hard-reset and reinstall anyway.

Yea a restore could add back some flaw. But if you reinstall apps one at a time over a period of time you might find if an application is causing the problem. Or if you want to install all the apps at once you could use Sashimi.

I'm just trying to avoid the re-installing and re-configuring stage...
I have a bunch of programs, all set up how I need them.
Maybe I'll try it - I guess it can't hurt...
