    I am looking at just these two batteries that do not require an extended door.

    Has anyone tried both of these? If so, did one seem better than the other?

    Looking at the numbers, the Mugen should provide twice as much extra capacity over the stock 1500 mAh battery as the Seidio does (extra 300 vs. extra 150). However, I'm not so sure that tells the entire story. FWIW, I have the Mugen battery (that is, the 1800 mAh), and I'm a bit underwhelmed.

    Thoughts, anyone?

    Thanks.

    Other reports on the Mugen suggest that owners are unimpressed.

    I am very happy with my Mugen 1800. I have been using for a couple of months with no issues. I am a fairly heavy user:

    * 1 exchange account with 8 email addresses forwarded to it. about 50-100 emailes per day.
    * 3 pop3 accounts set at 15 min.
    * Use about 1500 min / month
    * Light browsing, Mocha VNC, Logmein, etc.

    I get 1.5 - 2 days from my GSM Treo Pro.

    Now one of the things I do is set to GSM not 3G, as I do not really need 3G. I turn it on if I am doing heavy browsing or downloading.
