    Is there a way to hide an application from THE TASK MANAGER??

    I just a program called JUST TONES.. it has an SMS listener.. I dont want to see it in task manager as it needs to be running in the background all the time and shouldnt be shut off..

    Don't know how to do it on the 800w, but the HTC Task manager has an "exclusive" option that can be used to hide things from showing up in Task Manager. It's a useful option when you don't want to mistakenly close a program via Task Manager that you'd like to always have running.

    Like on my Touch Pro, TF3D is always on, so it's not displayed in Task Manger. Likewise, someone using SPB Mobile Shell may not care to see it listed every time they open task manager, they know it's running.

    I don't know if this works on the 800w, but maybe it has the "exclusive option" somewhere in it.

    No.

    Windows Task Manager does not have this ability.
