I noticed 3 days ago that everytime I take my battery out and put it back in, my outgoing text messages are automatically gone. Like if I just send a text to someone, take the battery out, and put it back in, the text I sent does not show up in outgoing or sent text files. There are no record of them anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix this, or do I need another unit??

Bet I know an easy fix... lol

To answer your question... no, can't say I've experienced this... can't say I have a reason to repeatedly send texts and immediately remove the battery. ROFL

Exactly... my easy fix (drum roll): Purchase an extended battery.

That would be an easy fix, but it's not really a permanent one. If something happens and I have to take the battery out again, I don't want to have to loose all my sent text messages. I think I might have to take this one to sprint since no one has experienced this.

My last phone, a Samsung flip-phone, did the same thing, but with ALL my text messages. It was a refurbished unit that I got from a Sprint store, which leads me to think it's probably some malfunction w/your phone. It should still be under warranty...maybe you need to get it serviced or replaced.

You know when you send a text... and sometimes it doesn't go throught and you get that red message saying that it couldn't be sent, click here to try again?

Well, even when you click the message and it gets resent, the message that didn't go through is still saved in the DRAFT folder. Any time you soft reset, or even put the phone in flight mode and back on, it sends everything in the draft folder again. You need to go in that folder and manually delete all the messages in it.
