Yes, indeed. It is silly as the app should open with the cursor iin the input box...

However, now that I know that, I can deal with it... I just have to learn a new habit...

FWIW I had a refurbed pro sent to me from sprint to replace my 800 and it was really bad with missing characters. I complained and got them to send me a brand new pro and it has none of those issues. Both were versions 1.04.

Both also skip during music play no matter what is turned on or off. Even the fix available doesn't competly help.

Try formatting the card with it in the Treo Pro, using a utility like SK Tools. (Of course you want to copy your card data somewhere else first.) If that does not help, try this SD Card speed up hack.

Music skipping would suck. I run my Treo Pro through the audio jack directly into my Navi/DVD/Stereo receiver and on the charger at the same time with zero issues. Calls come through, music stops, I hit speaker and talk through 5.1 surround sound. End call and the music comes right back on. No hicups or anything.

Has anyone else noticed the volume level coming from the headphone jack lowers aftr a call comes in?

Only thing that fixes it for me is to unplug and plug in again. its noticably louder.

Pioneer AVIC-D3, even plays DIVX. The Navi system is incredible. Better than many factory mammoth systems.

Medic, mine does that too. Thank God because in the car through the speakers I'm glad it does lower the volume automatically. It's probably default so you don't blow your eardrums out from headphones, bluetooth or through vehicle speakers.
