anyone else have any comments on increased battery drain? Missed calls is definitely an issue with my unit, but it is an infrequent occurrence. I'm not sure I wish to trade battery life for the few calls I miss. Any input is appreciated!

Actually, I was going to get an extended battery, until my battery life has been more than acceptable... I normally last at least 15 hours on a charge before it gets low enough for me to charge. Now that I've purchased the travel usb cord and car charger, I don't see me ever needing the extra battery... although, I may still get it for the heck of it...

Of course, due to the the call issue, I only check email manually.. lol.. so that saves tons of battery life.

But I'd say my battery life has increased since I first received the phone...

I know most people know this... but most of my issues of missing calls was from having DDTM mode on. It sends calls to voicemail when there is an active data session... and it seems like my pro is in an active session a lot. I get a LOT more calls now.

Grrr... I just had a call ring directly to voicemail sitting four feet from my Airave... WTF?

I am having as much or more issues now then before. Seemed to work great for the first few days of Zbops hack, but now I get the dreaded call with no sound issue. I did, however, install the Palm patch for that basically at the same time. Not sure what is going on. I have had maybe 2 calls in the last week and a half since I did all of this that went to VM without showing up in my recent calls list.

How do you change the DDTM settings?

It's off by default, so since you're not sure where it is, no reason to go hunting for it as it won't solve your problem.

Still, if you need to know it's under where'd you expect to find it, Settings --> Phone

Are we able to isolate this to all phones or just phones bought from EBAY. 1.03 or 1.04 upgraded or 1.04 straight from store.

    I have a 1.03 Ebay special upgraded to 1.04.

And I just started missing calls in low signal areas. I'm going to run in 1x mode for a couple weeks. I'm certain they have some radio levels and thresholds messed as texting and calling out work fine.

I haven't missed a call since I upgraded to 1.04. I have not applied this hack. Probably coincidence since the upgrade was for memory purposes. Just wanted to clarify that not all TP's miss calls even in a data session. Though very good work by zbop if it works for some.

all Sprint versions & yeah, it happens only in low signal areas where other Sprint phones work just fine.

Mal is right... I have several other sprint phones to test this and it only happened on the treo pro.

Although, my fix was to not pull data automatically into the phone until an "official" fix is out. So now I only pull email and such manually, and while in "ev." (if possible.)

No complaints about missing phone calls so far...

I did this update and notice that the amount of bars for signal strength is much lower, or none... but the acctural still seems to be higher. I have my phone paired to my car and even when the phone has 0 bars, the signal indicator on my car still shows full bar.

For some reason my phone doesn't ring when someone is calling me. I just get the notification ring that I have a missed call. I tried everything, but can't seem to get it to ring. Can someone help, Thanks

I guess I am coming onto this a little too late. The QPST 2.7 301 is no longer available for downloading.

Zbop or Mal, would either of you be kind enough to change the NVRAM threshold for me? I'm willing to pay for your help and the shipping.

    Thanks!

being able to force roaming somewhat alleviates that problem too

qpst - Bandung-Flasher.com GSM CDMA Cell Phone Repair Forum post #9 has the QPST-2.7.301.exe file. Wow. It took some searching, too. That is one tough file. It has been dropped from almost every site.

    Good luck

Well, all that work to find the file and now I can't get past the initial steps as I only have VISTA on my home computers (recently upgraded to new comps in the last year). I saw W7 work around that DL'ed a VXP, but I don't have W7.

Is there anything for VISTA, or am I just out of luck? What a pain.

    Thanks
