True, but I don't use TouchFlo. Right now I am using Titanium, but might be going back to plugin-ins. The customization of WM is great, but andriod is starting to look good, I want a Hero. lol

I looked at the Hero but didn't like the PIM functions. It seems like everything just keeps moving further and further away from the Zen of the original Palm devices as far as the PIMs go. WM is not as good as Palm, WebOS not as good as WM, and Android not as good as WebOS.

My girlfriend recently got a Pre after using a Treo 650 for years. While she's happy overall with the device, she's very unhappy with the calendar.

Why can't any of them have a memo app like the Palm? It's hardly a complicated app, yet none of the platforms have anything as handy.

I am using Mobile Shell on my TP2. Much nicer IMO then Touch Flo. I agree that it isn't a one handed device, but like budney points out you can make adjustments to your actions to make it somewhat one handed.

I'm not that thrilled by Touchflo either, however if you turn it off, you lose the touch friendly menus in all the other programs.

May be you should start sending emails to Palm asking for the old style PIM function, or better yet ask the app developers to make it.

And are you running the stock 6.1 ROM? 6.5 is much more finger friendly.

I'm waiting for Sprint's official 6.5 version. I'm not sure I want to keep the phone yet, so I'm hesitant to flash a new ROM.

Which 6.5 version are you using? Are you happy with it? Any problems?

I am using MightyMike"s ROM he released yesterday. I have been happy with any ROM he, Juggalo_X, and jakdillard have released. Those three chefs are the only ones I truly trust. Their have been some bumps in the road, nothing major for me. And the issues are quickly fixed by these three.

I am waiting for sprint's official version as well... can't say I've ever been a fan of "cooked" anything... although, I'm guess it is fine for most.

Then again, I don't eat food from people I don't know... they might look clean, but live with roaches (and think it is okay). lol

Would Palm make a screen as big as 4.2" like on the HD2?

I held HTC HD2 in my hand and its a beauty!

I wish it would come to Sprint, but no.

HTC Trophy looks intriguing to me. Wonder if Sprint will get it.

I've had my TP2 (actually a Tilt 2, WM 6.5 already on it) for awhile, now. For Calendar I use SBSH's Calendar Touch. My UI is Androkkid, which can be found here: SimoSoftProjects | Windows Mobile | Androkkid . Support threads can be found under Windows Mobile Development & Hacking at: xda-developers . There's a theme thread in the Windows Mobile Themes subsection, as well as some good icon set threads. The Windows Mobile Apps & Games subsection has two Androkkid threads. There's one for the main UI & one for widgets. Initial installation determines screen res & what size things need to be for the screen. So, it sized right for my Treo Pro & it also resized correctly for my TP2. Obviously, layout & usage is going to vary because of screen size & shape, but it works well on both.
Phones: Cingular 8525, GSM Treo Pro, Tilt 2

Yah I saw that. Look like Palm's form factor.

I still love my touch pro 2... not lost my love for this device after 4 to 5 months.

Today, they thought I had a radio in the building... playing jams through the tp2.... great little phone and boom box. lol

I just did this. Pro 2 should be delivered within a few hours ...
Ode to the Treo Pro: you had to look so good, you had to be HTC in disguise...
