Mandatory if you're within 30 days they have to send you new ones. I have 2 more BN STP's on the way. You have to fight for what's right. We do have rights.

I'm not sure you see if you MSL you can reset the phone & it will zero out but still mark it refurbshed. Have to ask zbop I think he would know.

I wouldn't accept a refurbished unit. That is just ridiculous. If you ever want to sell it now its worth a lot less. I would never buy a used refurb either.

LOL... if your phone breaks under warranty and they fix it, it is still a "refurb."

I've had a couple and never had an issue... although generally I don't like the idea of having a refurb... I won't balk too much either...unless I'm within 30 days of purchasing the phone. I will see if I can "wiggle" a new phone, but I won't press too hard.

But I've often found refurb items reliable as a "new" phones....

But I'd guess if you complained long enough, they would send you a new phone. lol

Does the phone actually say that it's a refurb or that's what they said they were sending you?
If God brought you to it He'll bring you thru it!

Two ways to check, if it arrives in a small white rectangulur box & if you check ##786# but if they're sneaky they can RTN it to hide the ##786# from showing you. These are the easiest ways to check. Good Luck
