I use Opera Mini on every device I have. I have it set in "Mobile View". I find Opera 9.5 and Skyfire to be bulky. If you haven't tried it do a search on here for the Opera Mini Java bundle.

You could try Iris browser. They just released a new version. You can read more about it here.

Someone cabed up Opera Mobile 9.5 build 15613 from the upcoming Touch Diamond 2 or the Touch Pro 2.

It works faster than the old version of Opera Mobile 9.5 and copy/cut/paste works real well as well as improvements in zoom.

Can be found here new opera in cab here (so far loads all webpages as desktop and not mobile) - PPCGeeks and you may have to register to get it.....

    I like it......

I recommend Iris as well. Opera Mini has been going slow for me lately and Iris is suprisingly fast.

I just tried the new version of Iris and I have got to say that this is possibly one of the slowest browsers available for the treo 800w.

I personally prefer Opera Mini 4.2 installed using the installer pack. Pages load in less than 10 seconds. Iris took nearly 2 minutes to load digg.com using iris.

    Eric,
what u need to do is install a Java manager like Esmertec and then go to opera website and download the opera mini. you can get the latest version of esmertec from XDA.

OPERA mini is the best and fastest ( you have to install the SPRINT Titan JAVA Platform).

    Then IRIS comes second.
SkyFire is the third, its slow , but you can do flash.

OPERA Mobile is the last , and is slow. But its gives a better zoom and control over page.

Can you post the website? I am using Mini to type this. If you post the link I will click on it from here. I have no issues with the browser asking for permissions so I really don't know what you are experiencing..

I can't upload right now, but I can tell you there are other CABs available that have signed opera mini installs. They don't ask for permission each time you start. My opera mini starts in less than 4 secs
