    Friends,

What do you all use for IM (Jabber, MSN)? Ive tried IM+ its nice, but paid (I have 1 license already running).

Palringo is nice and free but seems to lack history of chats.

Any other good ones for Treo pro?

    Thanks.

Gotta go with beejive. I paid for the lifetime license on my blackberry and love it to death. It's in free, unsupported beta for WinMo, and works well. They have no plans on continuing development for the WinMo platform, and it will remain in free beta forever.

I am king of chat and I like Agile Messenger.

But I cant understand how they come up with the $60 price tag.

IM+ from shapeservices.com is also good but had some issues in a new install I tried.

So I setup Agile. It is working very nicely for what I want, to be called even when my Treo Pro is on the screen saver) and play a sound of my choice. Also seems to have other nice features.

Chong, I just dont understand why visually it seems strange, distorted. Is there some screen resolution setting (didnt find it...)?

    Thanks.

    Guys,

Also, Im trying to avoid SMS costs since I have Internet unlimited plan on phone... You think I waste a lot more battery with Agile running in background, even if I set phone to off mode (press red button), compared to SMS?

    Thanks

I am using IM+ w/o any problems. It has a neat new feature that will send a url to whoever you're chatting with giving your location on a google map. Very cool.

I use Agile and it's good...except for the horrible graphic rendering on the Treo Pro.

Do you run it with RealVGA? Does it look any better?
