Octro will cease to work on 2/14/08, and will now cost $29.95 one time purchase per device in order to function. I recently was looking for an alternative due to some AIM transport problems and poor offline messages support when losing my connection, but I came back for the most streamlined UI.

Now it looks like I'll be going back to Palringo as $30 with the Pre right around the corner isn't very appealing.
