Still getting acquainted with my 800W and took some photos tonight. I wasn't impressed. The photos out of my 700P seemed better. I set the camera at the highest resolution, 1600x1200 and added some brightness. The lighting in the room was average, it was take in my kitchen. The photos are very grainy. Has anyone else experienced poor photo quality from their 800W?

    Maybe there's a setting I'm missing?

I would give that dog some happy pills. I don't understand why there is not a slid to cover the lens when not in use. You may need to clean the lens, mine always has some finger prints on it.

Make sure you hit "edit" afterwards and run "autocorrect" to better enhance colors, brightness, contrast...

    Also maybe read this.

You can also try something like NeatImage for post-processing noise reduction (via PC).

I find 640 X 480 set to fine quality, +2 brightness and everything else on automatic is much clearer than 2MP mode. The higher the setting the more grainy the pics look on my device. My buddy has the Touch Pro and the 3.2MP setting is also grainy.

I found all of those settings with the exception of Fine Quality... where would I find that?
