No matter what I do, I cannot get this thing to fully discharge, just brilliant.

Yes it is but the stock battery wasn't great at first either. I'm hoping that things improve after a few cycles with the new battery. If not, I'll ask ETEN to send me another one to try.

I've had my Mugen 1800 since Friday and have charged it three times. I've been getting mixed results. Yesterday it lasted from 7am - 11pm before I put in on the charger with 15% charge remaining and that was with BT enabled for most of the day. Today, its already down to 25% by mid-afternoon and I've barely used it.

The size is the exact same as stock but I'm getting about 10% less performance from it. I think that it's just a stock battery that's been relabeled.

I wouldn't recommend this battery to anyone. To make matters worse, ETEN's customer service is really bad so I'm forced to dispute the transaction with my credit card company.

    Buyer beware on this one.

Hmm. It would be REALLY shady to re-label a stock battery as a Mugen battery (which generally have excellent reputations).

disappointing nonetheless. Have others experienced the same?

I didn't mean that they relabled an actual Palm battery but instead maybe they source from the same place and put their own label on them. It just seems odd that the Mugen battery is the exact same size and weight of the stock battery yet they claim 20% more capacity somehow.

In reading at a variety of other mobile phone sites. Most people are having their best luck with the Seidio Innocell 1650, rather than the Mugen 1800. Not saying the Mugen 1800 is a bad battery, most people are just have better luck with the Seidio Innocell 1650.

Well so far it seems about the same as the stock battery. Not much noticeable difference.
I did not get the Seido battery as the shipping cost would be high where I am. Unfortunately, Worcell (Singapore) only just emailed me the Seidio 1650 mAH is now in stock

Hello Everybody, my name is Nikolai and i work for shop.eten.hu. Just would like to inform everybody that the Mugen Power battery for treo pro with 1800mAh SHOULD perfom 20% longer that the stock 1500mAh battery. If you bought Mugen Battery from us and are not happy with performance, please contact us (shop.eten.hu/contact_us.php) and we will arrange a replacement for you.

When I first got the 3200mah from Seidio for my 700wx it was the same thing. It wouldn't last as long. Same goes for the mugen 3600mah for my pro. You have to do at least 5 charge cycles. Eventually you start to notice the change. If after that you don't, then you prob have a bad battery.

I've had mine for 6 days, and yeah, my experience is pretty similar. I've charged it five times already. The battery performance has been up and down but it's rarely superior to the stock battery and certainly not in the neighborhood of the 20% more life expected.

Yesterday, I hardly used the phone at all and it barely lasted to the end of the work day. Today, I've been using it constantly and playing around mobile shell all day and have about 20% more juice than the same time yesterday. I installed MS3.0 the same day I started using the new battery, so I don't know how much MS is affecting battery life

I wouldn't recommend it either. I'm going to try putting the stock battery back in to compare and to see how long the Mugen holds its' charge.

That's not good that these batteries are not lasting that long. I have heard many complaints now. Not only from this site. I think when I get my battery today via DHL, I think i'm going to contact ETEN and ask about their return and refund policies. I think the seidio 1650mah sounds more like a winner. Waaaaay better feedback for those...

I use a 1650 as my primary battery, the original Palm as my backup. There's enough difference that, most days, I don't swap them.
