If that's the case, then I have no idea how they can sell the batteries with free shipping.

The web site may have a .hu domain but the actual entity is out of Hong Kong from what I can tell, ("Etrade Asia Limited"), where costs are...cheaper. I'm sure the price they're charging for the battery itself covers the 'free' shipping. I remember pricing the first Treo Pro dual cradles when they came out from Taiwan at $5 which by the time the ended up at a retail point of sale where several times that.

I concur. The confirmation email was from Etrade Asia. A bit of googling shows their blog:
    Etrade Asia
which links to their online shop hosted in .hu for whatever reason (perhaps they have European links, after all it's Nikolai Lebedovsky, General Manager, Etrade Asia)

I got my tracking e-mail yesterday and it's definitely being shipped from Hong Kong.

I got the 3600 mah from mugen 2 days ago, and it definitely delivers on the additional power, but I am VERY disappointed with the size of the device. It is waaaaay too unsightly now, so I am trying to return it. I went ahead and ordered the 1800 mah. I think I want to stick with the original size of the TP. I realized how much I missed the slim size when I got that mammoth of a battery door replacement! I hope the company takes it back and gives me a full refund..Seidio's replacement door is no better. They both make the phone seem extremely bulky, though they do deliver the power that you will need for more than 2 days!

Anyone have a chance to try out Mugen's 1800 mah yet? I know a few have ordered it...

Not yet. Still enroute from HK. I'm really looking forward to it as the factory battery is just barely making it to the end of the work day. I won't post opinions on the Mugen battery until I've had a chance to recharge it a few times.

Looking forward to an update on the 1800Mah battery. I just got my STP and while I like it a lot, I am not happy w/ the battery life. Let us know about this new battery.

I am now running the 3500Mah battery

This has made my Treo usable again.

I think I can get two full days off one charge, this includes working at 6000ft in the air.

No matter what I do, I cannot get this thing to fully discharge, just brilliant.

    Worth the extra bulk

When I have a free moment, I will

However if you are a heavy user like me 300+emails/day (seven and exchange) plus 3000-5000mins / month..this battery is a g-d send

I've had the 1800mAh battery for two days now and so far it's a disappointment. Seems to be lasting less than the stock one. I'll give it a few days and a few charging cycles and then report back.

I have no experience with the Mugen 1800, but i can say the Seidio 1650 is without question worth the $.
