I just installed on my 800w. I'll post back some results after the weekend.

I installed it. I'll monitor for a day or two and see if it makes a difference. I may be that I did a reset, but it does seem snappier. I connected to my Redfly via bluetooth and it seem to be repsonding faster. It wasn't bad before, but it seems to be changing apps faster, but, I may be just wishing real hard.

I didn't notice a difference. Also have done the registry hacks for battery life. I'm such a heavy user I just put it on the charger when its not in my hands.

These are pretty standard WM5/WM6 reg tricks going back to 2006 and will have the same effect as other devices, that is unknown. It was discussed here and here, briefly here in the 800w forum.

How to quantify that has always been difficult but 3rd party freeware tools like "Advanced Configuration Tools" has them (and others not in the Cody .cab) as options to enable.

I always enable these since there are no known side effects. Whether or not it makes an actual difference, like I previously mentioned, is hard to quantify.

If these help, than Palm and Sprint should package them as a product update.

I can't tell a difference to be honest. Some things seem to be quicker while others seem slower. I am hoping for a battery life improvement though.
