I'm ok with English interface, but I need to read Chinese or input Chinese occasionally, so anyone know how to enable wm6.1 to allow me to do that?

I hope the solution can be easy and stable and I suppose wm internal system should support unicode, right?

    Many many thanks!

The standard solution would be CE-Star I believe.
I need this too when I get it.

Check out chinese-forums.com and pleco.com support forums for further info on Chinese and PDAs. All questions have been asked there I think.
No doubt I will need that myself when I install it.

    Good luck!

You can try the CE-Star (www.mobem.com). The version is R3C.

Anyone knows if there is a "lighter" version of the Chinese language support for WM 6.1? CE-Star, from what I gathered, it is a heavy duty "double byte" language support. I only need to be able to read Chinese language on my Pro (SMS, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Email, PDF etc...)

    Anyone can help? Thanks

Hi publicid, I found this: http://bbs.pdafans.com/viewthread.ph...DA%D6%D0%CE%C4

The font looks nice on my treo pro, but in contact's note, still cannot display Chinese, it's so weird.

Jasper23, I need your help - tried to visit the site, require log on, tried to register, no luck... Can I trouble you to "cut" and "paste" the info here?

    I am on my knees...

    Thank you...

Also have a look at these two threads:

    http://plecoforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=929

Looks relatively simple to get viewing working, at least, and possibly even to install a Pinyin IME. Still waiting for my Treo Pro

Did you migrate from Palm OS?
Since there is no Unicode there, it might be formatted in Big5 or GB2132 which possibly causes problems for WM.

Yes, I'm from palm OS, I guess this is the cause just no easy way to overcome.

Hi, publicid, please follow the previous posts by others, I tried the exact the same one. Not sure if CE-Star is any better?
